Welcome to the homepage for the Alamance Bariatric Support Group. We are glad to finally have a place on the Internet that we can call our own.   The purpose of this website is to advertise our group to anyone who lives in the Alamance County/Burlington NC area who has had Weight Loss Surgery or the friends and family of someone who has gone through the surgery who may have questions.

While we do not promote surgery as the easy way out, we believe that if you have tried everything else along with physician assisted weight loss programs and nothing has worked, then Weight Loss Surgery may be for you.

This site is mainly to be used as a central gathering place for Alamance Bariatric Support group members, but anyone is welcomed to glean knowledge from our experiences.   Please see disclaimer.
